Cave17 is a studio that designs, ships, and operates digital products — quietly, on long timelines, with small teams. We work across a deliberately broad surface area and treat each property as a long commitment.
Each piece of work has a clear shape, a clear purpose, and a clear owner. Ambiguity is a cost we try not to pass on to anyone reading or using the result.
We measure work in years, not quarters. The output that matters most is the kind that compounds quietly, and that takes time to become visible.
We prefer to do less, well. Scope, surface, and complexity are kept deliberately small so the work stays legible to the people responsible for it.
What we publish reflects what is true. We don't optimize for the appearance of progress or the impression of activity — only for the thing itself.
We take on a small number of outside engagements each year — typically as an operating partner on a product, publication, or storefront. Email the studio with a paragraph.
