cave17 LLC was founded in 2026 as an independent studio for serious, long-running technical work. We hold our own products and partner with a small number of operators and teams on engagements where care and continuity matter more than speed of announcement.
We believe the most valuable software is the kind that compounds quietly — systems that are still useful five, ten, fifteen years after they were first shipped. Our vision is a studio where that kind of work is the default, not the exception.
Over the next decade, Cave17 intends to grow into a small portfolio of products and services that operate independently of any single founder, market cycle, or trend — while staying small enough that every line of code, contract, and customer conversation has an owner.
The way we work follows from the way we want the work to age: clearly scoped, honestly described, and operated end-to-end by the people who built it. We prefer fewer engagements done seriously over many done in passing.
